I’ve been passionate about technology for as long as I can remember and have always had a genuine desire to understand how things go together and work (credit goes to all of my childhood LEGO sets for that!). I’ve been fascinated by computers and networking ever since I first heard the sweet sound of a 56k dial-up modem connecting me to this little thing called the Internet.
Soon after getting our first family computer (a Gateway with a Pentium III), I found myself wanting to understand how everything worked—the parts inside, the settings in the software, etc.—so I could optimize it, make it run as efficiently as possible, and fix any problems I ran into. In what may have been some early foreshadowing, I still remember calling Tech Support for help—at just 13 years old—and explaining that I’d already walked through most of the troubleshooting steps on my own.
That same passion, curiosity, and drive to find solutions still fuels me today.
Professionally, I’ve worked in IT since 2014—most of that time focused on SaaS software support. I currently serve as a Senior Platform Support Analyst, troubleshooting complex platform issues using tools like SQL, Elastic, and Azure.
Outside of work, I’m a full-time nerd and homelab enthusiast, with a deep interest in networking, Linux, Docker, and system optimization. I’m always tinkering and learning something new—whether it’s refining my high-availability Proxmox + Ceph cluster, running self-hosted services (like this site!), or finding creative ways to automate my smart home.
Away from the keyboard, I enjoy fitness, gaming, photography, sports, and spending time in nature.
